You ever see the TR4 Dove.
Sexy machine, the Triumph Italia is another one that quickens my pulse.
I have a thing for hardtops.

I've owned a lot of them, - TR-2, TR-3, TR-3A, TR-3B, TR-4, TR-4A, Swallow Doretti - and best IMHO is the disc brake TR-3 or 3A. The 2 is neat but the brakes aren't up to it, and the TR-4 variants don't have interesting enough styling to make it worth putting up with that execrable Triumph suspension.
If I am going to drive an oxcart, it better be a neat looking one!
TR6 is my favourite, preferably this one (3.4L SFI V6):

I agree with Andre about the Italia, but that's almost like cheating. I loved my old TR3 and regret ever selling it. Lusty motor, good torgue, OD and low doors. Chicks used to wave at ME. I like my Mk I Spitfire, but it needs more motor and more gears. If i could have any of them now, I would go for a TR6 with OD and a hardtop. I used to hate the TR250, but saw one with wires and it totally transformed the car.
Hey! I've driven the TR6 that Andre just posted. It's a rocket ship!!! If anyone's curious, here are a bunch more pics of it: http://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/KenHiebert.htm (awesome engine compartment detailing, eh?)
In terms of balance, refinement, ride, exhaust note, and comfortable seating, this next TR6 is wonderful - and it'll really scoot too: http://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/TedLathrop.htm
My favorite Triumph seems to change every time I visit the Racetorations web site (www.racetorations.co.uk). But an early TR3 in black or dark BRG, with uprated brakes and suspension, chopped windshield or Brooklands windscreens and body colored wire wheels is at the top of my list at the moment. Next is a GT6, done up something like Andre’s but with dark blue paint and smaller 13” Minilites. Third is my own hot-rodded ’68 Spitfire with factory steel hardtop (aka "Spitrod") I’m currently in the process of building. And honorable mention goes to a white early sixties Herald sedan with a beefed up chassis, better suspension and brakes, gutted interior, race seat, and high-revving Spitfire Mk3 engine … the perfect vehicle to go hunting Trabants with.
That green TR6 has Ford Mustang wheels and a Chevy V8!! It just needs 'Cuda seats and it would have the Detroit Trifecta!

I have owned a TR4a and now own a TR6. My favorite Triumph though has always been the TR2. Saw one at the Euro AutoFest last year, absolutely stunning.
My favorite Triumph...
This is loaded question as we have a Spitfire now and I hate that car with a passion...
However, a friend of ours has a TR3 which is cool (although I haven't driven it yet), and I do lust over later model square-tail GT6's... despite their similarities to the Spitfire...
