I remember that car very well. Jack Baker sorted it out over at the old Met center.  He got dizzy trying to establish a baseline to work against in just a 100 foot circle, so he let me set the baseline.  
  Then we started working on the transition.  I. Those days tires still were treaded and the break away was knife edge.  I could catch it. But it really made driving twitchy.  
  We set up a "course" around the stadium just to work on those transitions . We tried every variation, tire pressure, alignment,  stagger, eventually changing the throttle linkage civilized it to the point it started to work but by that time it was dark.
