Car manufacturers like to use elaborate displays to prove how capable their cars are, but in 1957 Ford wanted to up the ante. The company got in touch with Motor Olympics creator Bill McGaw to show off its newest cars for the year.

Dubbed the Motor Thrill Show, the stunt show included long jumps, two-wheel driving, and even a car-mounted trapeze performance.
