The V8 may be one of America’s favorite pastimes, but what about all the other V8s from around the world?
Which is your favorite V8? Something domestic or something from the other side of the globe?

The Ford 5.4 Aluminum in the Ford GT. Smooth and powerful as well as anvil tough. Lower end built so strong that some have boosted it up to 1500HP in stock form. Of course the car it is attached to helps enhance the opinion.

That's way rad. Is there a build thread where I can learn/see more?
Detroit Diesel 8V-92 Silver Series Turbochargered Intercooler By-pass blower version putting power thru a 6 speed Allison World transmission in a GMC General tandem axle tractor hauling 53ft trailer stuffed with my favorite cars.
The Ferrari F129 3.5L 5 valves/cylinder is it for me. Smooth, fast to rev and as installed in an F355 with a Capristo exhaust there is nothing short of an F1 engine that has a better exhaust scream. It doesn't hurt that it looks pretty decent too.
I am more into straight sixes, but my choice would be the aluminium 3500cc Rover V8 that was purchased from Buick, that then went on to power so many UK makes.
I like the Studebaker V8. Put it in 2 hot rods I built when I was 16-17 years old. Over square design 4 years before the small block Chev engine. It was also the foundation for the Novi indy engine.
I'd like to find a Daimler 2.5L Hemi V8. That is such a cool engine. My second favorite is the one I'm installing in an MGB-GT - Olds 215 V8.
