Anybody else notice Miata wheels on the 2002? I went over the pictures twice and both times thought they were Minilites. 
That white "Ken & Mary" Skyline is bleedin' beautiful. As a member of the USAF I lived on the island of Okinawa for 2 years. Those pics bring back so many wonderful memories... Thank you. Cheers, Scott

Kapt, that's our own Amazon, of course, so I tend not to take pics of it.
Bikes, Velocette, not Norton Commando. The guy with the light blue Mini is working up a Norton Atlas, but it's not quite done yet.
Luke, not Miata wheels and not Minilites either. I believe they are actual BMW option wheels of some sort.
GSCR, the owner of the Skyline has a bunch of other Japanese domestic market cars -- at least one other Skyline, three Toyota Seras and a Celica, a Nissan Silvia, Mazda Cosmo Sport, , and others. The Skyline sounds outrageous.
Monroe, the Whidbey Island European Sports Car Club meets 9 a.m. the first Saturday of every month at Gerry's Kitchen on Main Street in Freeland, and sometimes a second Saturday mid-month. It's not really a club because there's no membership or leadership involved, and the cars don't actually have to be European, sports, or even cars at all. It's completely informal -- come on out!

Dumb Skyline question: Was that generation related to the late 70s US-market 200sx? It looks a bit like my old 200sx around the C-pillar, albeit much less homely.
Close, your 200SX was based on the Nissan Silvia, not the Skyline. The latest version of the Silvia was a beautiful car. Too bad it was never officially imported here.
David, when I came back to the 'States in '82, I brought my '72 Skyline GT with me to Las Vegas. Sadly it was rear-ended by a tour bus while cruising the Strip one warm Saturday night about 8 months later. I think I cried for about a week. 27 years on I still miss that car. Cheers, Scott

All of this Skyline talk has me feeling nostalgic for Okinawa as well. When I was there (1995-96) importing Skylines was outside the realm of possibility, but I sure did like to see them around. I prefer the earlier, boxier GC-10 cars, but Ken & Mary cars are pretty cool as well.
For a real car to own, however, I think I'd prefer the Volvo or the 2002. Could you imagine finding parts for a 1968 Skyline?
Do my eyes deceive me or does the 2002 have extremely aggressive camber on the front suspension?
It does have a fair bit of negative camber. I can ask how much when I see the owner Tuesday -- he's off racing this weekend.
Here's a cool bit of useless info I thought I'd share... Some folks wonder why the older JDM vehicles have the mirrors mounted way out on the fenders. The reason is because the Japanese motor laws mandated that the exterior mirrors be visible within the field of vision cleared by the windshield wipers. Cheers, Scott
