My ledged mind wonders while scraping grease and grime. What kind of things would people like to see at the Challenge? Cars, themes, people, creations????
Me, I'd love to see a
'1. V8 Volvo wagon, with a power adder.
'2. A tribute car to our allies
'3. GRM Staffers involved with some of the teams.
'4. Quasi NoSHow to finally bring something. (or self).
'5. The return of Erik Lawson, Eric Storhok, Tim Spellman, Kent F., Dennis Crabill
'6. Scott to drive the autocross in our car again. Sorry Dude, but looping it in the starting gate was funny. OK, funny after we got to return with the car 2 years later.
'7. Per to not roll his eyes and shake his head when we go through the concour.
An overall trophy in my hands.

I considered this, until I realized it wouldn't be legal ANYWHERE else!

If I was a smarta$$ troll I would say...
- Claim rule
- High-performance Echo division
- More cowbell
I was sooooo close to bringing a V12 XJS in Group 44 Livery in $010. You can buy a running white one for $900-$1200 easily. I'm still sad when I think about deciding not to go that route.
4 can ride with me if he drags his ass to cleveland. but camaro back seat might be really hard for a man of his size(ie - anyone over 5 years old).
i'd like to see some 2nd gen camaro representation, so i bought one to build.

Me too. But the event probably wouldn't actually happen.
You can be on our team, as long as you verbally abuse Joe Gearin daily.

That behavior actually starts when your entry arrives. You're just catching the tail end.
Can I send my entry tomorrow?
The day someone brings a fire damaged Countach with a V-8 swap. I'll die happy.
Someone near my house has all sorts of junk in their yard. Among it are several old Japanese vans, the ones where you sit ahead of the front wheels, and a couple of the early eightys Toro/ Eldos with v8s. Part of me thinks if I had any talent a scaled down twin engine Scenicruiser could be made.

Another generation of Nelsons coming up the ranks to kick our Challenged ass for the next 10 years.
Oh wait......
Darn.

I thought he was only a computer generated post-bot?
This does not compute. System does not recognize user name Quasi NoShow, system recognizes JG Pasterjerk as a big meanie, system recognizes Wheels777 from his acting days on The Flintstones as Barney Rubble.
JB and I should discuss doing a Festiva. Perhaps one or both of us would actually bother to show up then.
(WAY too many ideas in my head, but HAVE to finish some other projects before starting a new one).

I'd like to see me eke 12s out of this heap on my first showing, and not destroy a set of tires in ONE autox run.
