'13 Mustang AutoX tire/wheels

Anybody have any tire/wheel size recommendations for a '13 Mustang V6?

I'm looking to get a dedicated set for Auto-X. I'm a complete beginner so I don't think slicks are a good idea or in my budget.

I'm running Pirelli P-Zero Summer P255/40R19 right now.

Depends on what class you are trying to run, but stepping down to 18s will be your best bet.

Width and tire compound will depend on your class.

My brain first read the title as 13" mustang autox tire/wheels

Forgot to mention the 19" pirellis are Performance Pack additions.

The base model has P225/60HR-17

I'm D-Stock at the moment and don't care too much about competition, just want to learn and get faster.

Base mustang tires are 225s so I'd like to stick with 255s to stay in D-Stock.

Then just run the Pirelli's.

You're right, might as well run the Pirellis till they need replacing. I don't know why I'm trying to spend money on stuff that I really don't need yet...
