I need some tires for challenge car.
What are my options?
nothing. My e30 wears 15s just so I could get some decent tires for it (Star Specs). Trying to find 14" performance tires is not worth the frustration. For any car that uses 14s, I'm sure you can find some 15s for pretty cheap anyhow.
In 14" street tires your option is dunlop ZII Either star specs or older non star spec for the same price in 185/60R14 (only size option).
If you want R compound tires anybody that make them should still have 14" sizes (Hoosier A6/R6(not available in A7/R7 yet), Kumho V710, Hankook Ventus Z214 C71
There is only one option that I know of, the Dunlop Direzza ZII / Star Spec.
185/60 R14 is the only small size offered. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+ZII
Star Spec/ZII's/whatever they are calling them right now are available, and decent, but pretty much Miata specific, i.e. 185 section width. Initially, Star Specs also came in a 195 section width, but, sadly, no more. There really isn't anything else out there unless you want to go R888's. If you're doing that, you might as well go with Hoosiers, since they're going to be classed as race tires at a UTQG of 100 at pretty much any autocross you go to.
Of course, I'm not sure what the challenge rules say about tires, so YMMV.
I have used these in a 195/60 14 on 14X6 rims.

If you're looking for slightly used, I've got a set of Hoosiers down the road from you in the Cincy area that have a couple autocrosses on them. I bought 'em back in '06 or late '05, ran a couple (like maybe 2 or 3 events) autocrosses with them on the Neon, and they've been sitting in the garage ever since. I think they're 205/60s, but I don't remember for certain.
If you were closer to Texas, I would give you the V710's that are in my garage for the cost of dismounting them from the rims. They are 225/60/14
I have a set of old BFG R1's in I think 205/60-14. You can have them if you pay to dismount them from the wheels they are on.

Those would work perfextly
Ask around old ES NA miatas owners. That was the weapon of choice for years on that car. That's why I got mine.
