I ran across this car on Craigslist when I was searching for a local Callaway. I remember reading a lot about Greenwood, but not these cars specifically, so I thought it was interesting. The car isn't Challenge friendly, but I still though it was cool enough to post here.

That's scary under the hood.
Neat, but scary.
so it is a suck through carb.. in the stock location (appears raised slightly) then into the turbo.. then back to the manifold?
I think it would have been a LOT easier to move the carb off to the side somewhere
Wow, for some reason when you'd mentioned this car before, I'd been thinking of their C4 version. I had no idea they'd built a C3!
I think the good thing is, is that the engine runs!

I think you're thinking about the Callaway I'd mentioned before. I think.
I wonder if they ever sorted out the blow through carb. I'm betting not, and that it would never run properly. It would be a hanger queen.
looks more like a suck through.. and if you look closely at the pictures.. it IS running. The fanblade is a blur
Right. So it doesn't have the body kit, and it doesn't have the correct turbo set up. What makes it a Greenwood?
slow

Can anyone tell if this is a "Greenwood Turbo GT" or a vette with Greenword Turbo kit?
he says he has the right hood and rear spoiler on it.. so I am thinking Vette with the turbo kit
That is one wacky intake manifold. Wow...
I love all the weird late 70's/early 80's turbocharged stuff.
price really doesn't seem that bad. Most worn out late 70's Vette's are in the 2-4k range.
The hood looks right but Greenwood's website claims their cars were blow throughs by '78, and I don't remember ever seeing a Greenwood C3 at a show that didn't have the big fenders.

That's a Martin draw thru system on there, The packaging is pretty good but it's an early draw-thru system so you're not going to make a whole lot of power with it.
