Whoops! Meant to be in the $201X sub-section
I know nothing of VW's, but it looks like a good deal even to me!
I always wanted one of those cars
mine was a blast.
CIS is a mystery beast to the average internet mechanic, but it's really a fairly simple system once you understand how it works.
If it's not hiding rust and rot, it's a good deal for sure, not that nice ones are worth much more. Interior looks like it might be beat up too though.
That's a deal. I had a good door for one until a scrapper stole it.
I always wanted one of those when I was younger. Still like the style of them...

please save that car from a life of rusted hoods, too much camber, and tyres too small for the rims

I want one of these really badly. But I am out of garage space as it is.
I really like these!!! Wonder how they compare performance wise to a G60 Corrado ?
If someone buy this and doesn't want the carpet, please give me a shout.

probably just a hair slower as they have less hp, but are lighter.. the probably also handle better and are tons more reliable
I road race one in ITA. Not the fastest car for the class but the car was free. It was a non-runer that I took from my nephew to built into this race car. Fun to drive, tons of cheap mechanical parts available. Body parts not so much or at least in the midwest as this is a rare car now. I don't see them on the road and people come up to the car at the track and until they see the VW logos they don't have a clue what it is. If anyone on this board buys this contact me as I have a few parts that I don't need but hate to just throw away.
The guy responded again and said he has a clear title in hand. Somebody (else) needs to get this.
