Any feedback from ones who have owned and track dayed or DE/Raced a 240sx what are your thoughts on this car for low-buck track fun? (Compared to say a 1986 300zx or 80's 3 series BMW). Reliable? Parts easy to get? Anylinks for good 240sx race forums? Thanks for the input/help!

As far as trackdays go, springs, shocks, tires, fresh brake pads and you're ready to go. No different that any other street car that you want to put on track.

This is a forum for SCCA Improved Touring. You'll have filter through the threads but there's good info about the 240sx. Quite a few have run the car in this series. The 89-90 models with the SOHC motor run in ITA and the 91-98 (S13 and S14) run in ITS.

If its still out there, google Sport Compact Car's Project Slivia, by Dave Collman. Unlike the usual drift wienie approach, he when track style and succeeded.
