Anyone have experience with these? I know they have the SR20DE engine. I'm just looking for a fun dd. What should I look for when checking one out? I actually found a grey one from a small lot and I emailed about it. I put "Sentra Se" in the subject line and they replied with "what santa fe You talking about". I lowered my head and shook with unbelief.

My 97 SE-R was rock solid reliable. It didn't always like emmisions tests though. Throw in a short shifter and have fun. Highway MPG was much better than around town.

I've got an 01 Sentra SE, but its a B15, although I think there wasn't much that changed. I wanna say 99 is the last year of the older SR20 configuration, 00 and 01 models have the newer roller rocker motor with 5 more horsepower, but a lower redline.

As far as a DD, I absolutely love this car, as I've posted before. Mine is rebuilt, I bought it wrecked in April 06 with 53K on the clock. I've been driving it every day since January 07, and all I've done is a set of brakes, a couple of axles, and a starter.

Of course, I'm really attached to this car since it took me on my honeymoon, brought my baby home, took my animals to the vet, so on so forth. Mine is bone stock, cept for a muffler delete. The mileage is decent, and the fun factor is through the roof. I'd recommend them to anyone.
