Here it is!
Okay, I know, sorry to tease! But we're working on announcing a bunch of details for next year's event soon, and I'm sure you're all going to love it!

Next year is definitely the 20th? My son wanted to go for a 15 year reunion (been thinking about it since $2004) but the third week in October is the NYC Wine Experience, like April 16th for CPAs; it's a marathon for him. Four nights of $1000 a plate dinners? Suck it up kid!
We've got 11 months to sort it out, but can I ask a budget question or is there another thread already?

In reply to Tom Suddard :
Looking forward to it.
Any guess how long it will be before we can see the rules again? Trying to sort out a few things...

Not sure how it would work out but I believe 13 was registered this year by Gabe. He wasn't able to get his truck ready in time so I believe he rolled the registration over. If in fact that gives him "dibs" maybe you can "buy" the number from him as pro players sometimes do when they want a certain number.
In reply to Stampie :
Wait-you can roll a registration over to the next year? If so I'm going to go ahead and sign up and use it when I get around to finishing a car.
In reply to MrJoshua :
I think it's meant for an oh E36 M3 my car can't make it or in the case of this year I believe it was offered to those who withdrew after the drags were cancelled. I don't think they want it used as a procrastinating tool.

Pretty major changes in the rule language. It would behoove everybody to read the entire document carefully.
Also it looks like a mistake: In the Q&A, has the cutoff for drag race time in a few of the answers at 13.49 seconds. Roll bars, seat braces, hand clutch for motorcycle engine powered hoopties. Probably should get clarification from the HMFIC...
In reply to MrJoshua :
Looks to me like you can roll over ONCE if you establish in writing your excuse for berkeleying up and not getting your car done a week before the event starts.

During the concours, there are no minimum clothing requirements.
I still have visions of Nopi Nationals-esque models for my car at the GRM judging
