The topic says it all:
My sister is looking at a 2001 Mustang with a V6, Auto, and side exit exhaust.
The seller is the second owner and believes the exhaust is factory.
Was that a factory or dealer option? I know there are kits to add it, and I'm just concerned it may not pass Mass inspection if not factory/dealer option.
Complete add-on either AM or dealer installed. Never was a factory option, especially on a 6 pooper.
Perhaps a Steeda kit meant for a V8?
I can't imagine that this setup sounds good...
Thanks for the feedback. I haven't heard it yet, so I cant say how it sounds.
A little more googling and I found that the Roush Stage 1 kit was available on the V6 as well as the GT.
But unfortunately a quick look at the photos she took shows it isn't a Roush.
