So, I had drafted a letter, and as politely as I was able, explained how dissatisfied I was and how tarnished GM's reputation would be in my eyes and those of my family. I had copies of the documentation I found online from GM regarding this issue and everything.

I did not send it because I kinda thought it would get me nowhere.

Then last week my car began acting up again. Yes, about 2 weeks after all this throttle-body business, my car began needing more cranking to get it started. Then, sometimes when it would start, the flashers would be going off. Then, the flashers and the alarm would go off. So, at least to address the slow-start issue, I had the charging system checked at the local vatozone. Passed with flying colors. kay, so its something else. GO to the dealer like "hey, yous guys was up under the hood and borked something, please fix?!?" and today theyre all like "ohnoyoudi'nt...you gots some bad bat'ry cablez yo! And your bad cable effed the "body control module"...gimme gimme treefiddy...cuz we also gotta recheck that battery after we replace it...oh yeah, and no warranty soup for you".

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot....

seriously? Bad negative cable after 74k? Bad cable = borked module? And no warranty again.

GMC, this is looking very bad for you. The owner is supposed to be calling me later today (Svc Mgr is out on vacation). I will be polite, and professional. But that doesnt mean I will be happy or positive.

Just venting, but this is seriously retarded. Prolly gonna send that letter now.
