As the title said. Acts like it has a dead battery but the battery is fine. I am thinking either BCB or ignition switch. Anyone got any ideas.

Bad starter motor?  Loose or corroded connections at the terminals?

Does it do anything?  Crank slowly?  Click?  Nothing?

Clean the battery connections (cables and posts) and grounds.

motor does not crank at all.

power to the fuse block

nothing in the car has power with the ignition on

battery terminals cleaned and reconnected

ground and power cables checked and tested good.

I am leaning towards a master relay, ignition switch or a bcm.

I'd start investigating the ignition switch and make sure power gets to there.  From there, everything on this car is controlled through the TIPM (total interested power module), which, from my understanding is an elaborate CAN-driven relay board.  I'm not sure if they'll cause all the accessories and such to be dead, but knowing what I know about them, it wouldn't surprise me.  That would be my second stop.

There's lots of common TIPM issues on these vans

Wireless control module in the column/dash has been a known weak point. Basically if the key doesn’t respond with the wcm, you get a no start/no crank.

I was also thinking TIPM, based on what I've heard from Chrysler guys. Also, it's Totally Integrated Power Module, not Interested.

Thanks for the correction!  I was on my phone and I blame auto-correct :)

I'm late to the party here but could it just be the neutral saftey switch?  Won't start because the car does not realize that it is actually in park.

Will it start with the trans moved to N?

Figured it out.  A wire had come out of the C4 connector on the TIPM.  Plugged it back in (after figuring out where it went) and works good as new.  Zip tie and a dab of silicon on the wire on the back of the connector to keep it in place.  Saved the Owner a pile of $$$$

Nice diagnosing the problem and not just being a parts hucker, Dean!  You're kinda lucky that it acted the way it did.  I'd imagine that a lot of those wires would cause a problem that was much harder to diagnose (cruise control kicks off after every X event, for example).

Glad you where able to find the problem. Then next questions is how does that happen?

I suspect that the recall for the fuel pump was done and it was pulled loose then. Finally came out over time.
