Well, it started life as a Turbo Caravan.
Now it's a more betterer Turbo Caravan!
1000 lbs lighter, 16V 2.2L bored out to 2.5L, stick shift mommy-mobile.

Damn! Can I get a ride??? I've never personally saw one of those, but I know they're quite rare. My first (Legal) car was a '88 Daytona Turbo, so I have a soft spot for Turbo Dodges

AWESOME.
In reply to dansxr2:
Assuming I make better progress by Sept, of course you can have a ride.
If not, my backup car is not too exciting, but you are welcome to a ride in it as well.
Anyone around Houston going this year... The s10 won't be going but I'd love to ride along and help out
i went and looked at a '96 probe gt with a "timming problem" that "was fast before the timming went out". headers, test pipe, cat-back, CAI, a/c delete (LOL), PS delete (another LOL). kid told me the car had 120k, so I was surprised to see 180k on the odo. clutch pedal was about 2" above the floor. he's asking a grand, and i told him that it was worth about $400 to me, and i thought that was a pretty fair price given the generally hack nature of the car. i will hit him again in 2 weeks and if it's still there i'm confident he'll take the $400. at that point, i have a decent parts car for my 228k '96.
I will "hopefully" be bringing back the suby-powered 914 this year. That is, if I can get the engine fixed from the spun bearing last year.
I will be going through Houston on my way to FL. Its a long drive down I10.

2012 SCCA Dixie National Tour.
MiataMe, WilberM3, SilverFleet and myself are coming down from MA and should be back this year with the Turbo Jeep Cherokee.
Probably coming down but only to spectate and enjoy the event. Taking a break from building this year.
You guys are going to have to wait until next year for the Tubo III Caravan. We've shelved it, and are bringing a 1st gen VW GTI.

BOOOOOO....
I wanted to see some TIII goodness. Is anyone bringing Turbo Dodge stuff? I need to take notes for my CSX.
Did you just Boo me??
You are welcome to come to my shop and help git-r-dun. I'll applaud you and buy the beer, whether or not it gets finished in time!
You'll just have to see it next year.
You'll need to log in to post.
