Worst take on 'jeep face' ever.
Does however, coincide with me re-undertaking my quest for a 2-door Cherokee to monkey with.
Ewww, it looks to me like an escape mixed with a Kia then they threw the jeep trademark front slats on there.
Looks like the unholy offspring of a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Nissan Juke. I can't say that I totally hate it but compared to an original XJ I totally hate it.
baby Jesus is crying......
way to take one of the best-looking and most-capable/functional SUVs ever built and turn it into something disgusting, Jeep.
This is surprising, considering how excellent the new Grand Cherokee looks....

I thought the same thing.
The VehiCross was cool because the whole thing was funky and different. Plus it could get away with it because it had actual serious off-road capability.
This thing just looks like every other watered-down soccer-mom-mobile, except with a really stupid looking fascia.
I thought Nissan ruined the Pathfinder name with the milquetoast new version, but Jeep has outdone them by a mile here.
From the owner of 2 cherokees and a liberty....
I think that pic just gave me syphilis. The bad kind.
Compass body lines, Kia lower grille, and Aztek nose treatment...all it needs is an Edsel grille and they will have covered every styling mistake since 1958.
My wife's Patriot just went from vanilla to stunningly beautiful.
The 4x4 forum I frequent is all upset at Jeep diluting the name. When the first Cherokee came out it was laughed at because it was unibody. The common complaint was "Real 4x4s have frames. That danged thing is a car!" When Jeep gave the Liberty IFS, uproar was heard. People still get all worked up over the square headlights on YJs. The Patriot/Compass twins have been bashed for years because they are too "car-like". The way I see it is all those cars that have upset enthusiasts and offroaders (who dont typically buy many brand new cars) sell like the proverbial hotcakes and make Jeep lots of money. Then they can keep making the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited in all sorts of packages from no AC bare bones to Rubicon. There is the hard core 4x4.
In a world of blandness its nice to see controversial styling.
it has potential. Hopefully it will lose some of the guady chrome when it comes to the showrooms. Once it tones down the bling a bit (make the chrome availible as an added cost "extra") it might not be bad looking at all
