Heading out early in the am, right after my mate finishes painting RVs for REV on their weird 2nd/3rd shift. We will be heading south on 75 Black Betty the E150, the plan is to drive straight through.

We're leaving Macon for Chattanooga tomorrow about 8:30. The plan is to run backroads up the west side of GA to 'Nooga for Thursday night and then do the Coker Crawl, I mean tour, down to the Mit with Tim and Margie on Fiday.
So should we all post pics here, or should I start my own thread?
I saw a Porsche with number plates and aero headed south today. I'm assuming that it was bound for the mitty.

Black Betty the Blue Oval Beauty blowing down the highway. Have fun and keep us poor saps stuck in the salt mines updated please.
Testing my mobile hotlinking prowess...
EDIT: you may just have to wait till I get home...
Second attempt..
Ahh...there we go.
We won't get to leave until Saturday morning. South on I-75 then over to 411 then 52/53 over to the track. 95 Miata with Tn plates Bandini.
Tim and I are heading up to Chattanooga to get everyone registered for tomorrow's Coker Tour to the Mitty.

Half way through Kentucky and the exhaust starts to leak, bad, at the front, stopped at the best Waffle House ever, then found the EGR is completely gone. It will survive intil we get a replacement

4.6? If so i have a new egr tube sitting around in your "this crap goes to steve" pile. It's pretty common. I managed to tap what was left in the fitting of my exhaust manifold for a 1/4 pipe plug then unplugged the egr
Dagnabbit! This is the first Mitty I will miss in a long time. Looking forward to living through you guys vicariously.
Halfway around 75 bypass at Chattanooga and I see a Medium Duty Chebby, engulfed in flames, looks like was loaded with hay.

Stupid work means I can't come hang out with people that think this is worth drinking. I am afraid to know the cost on that bottle.

Aaaaarrrrrrggggg!!!! Steve, you're killing me. KILLING.
For once, I have a good excuse. I'm going to start an announcement thread about that later though.
On I75 noth of Macon now. Stopped off for meat-and-three lunch at Blair's Den (you get cake), rolled by the Allman Brothers' old house.
