Hello All.
I've got a project I'm working on using a 2017-2019 Fusion back up camera but I can't seem to find the pinout of the camera on-line anywhere.
HS7Z19G490F is the Ford number I bought Dorman's 592-261
The camera has 6 pins in a line not the 2rows like the earlier ones.
Dorman's tech line was ZERO help on the pinout.
Thanks for the help!

What are you looking to accomplish?
Some - not all - OEM backup cameras use a weird voltage that prevents them from easily being integrated into an aftermarket solution.

So we upgraded our pick up truck (long story)
We now have a 2016 F250. It has a camera in the tailgate, we run a fiberglass insert that requires the tailgate to come off. Ford at some point changed vendors or something ~2 years ago so replacement cameras went from $80 to $290.
I bought the tailgate harness for $34 and have the pinout for it, I've been able to wire a aftermarket unit to it and its working BUT my Co-pilot Wife would like the distance lines and the turn projection that the factory unit has.
So I was able to find the Dorman Fusion camera and it uses the same connector but the pin out is slightly different i can get video but not the lines. so I know the LIN pin and or the ground is missing or in difrent location.
I can look tomorrow when I'm back at work for you.
The part number for the connector is at the bottom of the pic if you need that too.

Thanks but thats the older connector and pin out.
I have the connector but it inline 6 pin not the two rows of 3 and my conector fits the camera the pin out is different for the inline 6 pin sadly.
In reply to 44Dwarf :
That's what they show for a 19 Fusion in the wiring diagrams. ???
Focus shows an in-line connector...
Oh thats odd. when i googled the ford numbers is shows 16-19 but then say late 17 and newer...

Thanks for the help Saron81.
I know three of the pins pin 1 in + power and the two video + and- pins. and i get video but no line for distance and turn projection. I'm not 100% positive but i believe those come from the LIN pin and the ground those pins ford seams to move around on the cameras I don't want to just haphazardly connect pins for fear of roasting the LIN module.
Odd... both the parts catalog and the wiring diagrams from Ford show all Fusions 16- to have the square connector, and nobody in my state stocks the camera for me to look at. Sorry.
Oh well, for now i'm just going to wire up the AfterMarket cheap ass camera i bought last year that was supposed to be wireless and show 4 cameras at once but it worked for only 1 hour... They wanted me to uninstall them and send back to china....
The cameras work if i wire them directly, Have one already on the insert and one on the trailer. now i got to wire the new truck. at some point we'll figure out the dorman camera.
Don't bother with these unless you hardwire to a different monitor I've tested they do work with my 2016 f250 SYNC in the radio
