I have installed a set of Falken 660 on my '82 BMW 320 and they have completed two auto cross events along with the miles to and from the site. The mounting of the tires high lighted stiffer sidewalls and they are definitely a generous "205" compared to the brands I have run in the past.
My car is running on H and R springs with Bilsteins at both ends. So I have a limited camber change that can be dialed in. The car is street driven and will not evolve into a track rat. I have that covered.
First impressions, I am learning how much grip they offer on my car. I have worked out the tire pressure that is working on my car and they are holding up to the heat during events in So Cal. All of the runs have been 5 or less in a run group. If or when I get to run a practice with more "runs" I will have to bring a sprayer, I am not in a hurry to over heat them. The Pro at Fontana this weekend will highlight the new tires in both CAM and SSC, should be a great test.
