I just rebuilt the Aisin carb on the 20R in a friend's 1977 celica. Everything is working with one exception. Once the secondary is opened the slow (transition) jet starts flowing fuel and will not stop until the bowl is too low for it to draw fuel. I have visual confirmation of this.
I'm working on getting my membership in the secret society of 1stgencelica approved, but any advice y'all might have in the mean time is apprecaited!
Get a different carb. No really. That carb is awful.
Check ball missing somewhere?
Also- Find the worlds oldest 2.2 K car and steal the Holley/Weber off it.
Ended up being a blocked atmospheric vent on that circuit. Runs great now.
