I'm building a old skool ford courier/mazda b2000 in a hot-rod type truck. Im looking into the ford 2.3 motors but Ive heard about 2.5 ford with volvo heads making hella power.. I'm not looking to spend everything I have but It dont bother me spending money.

Can you people help me out please.. thank you and if ya can help it would be a blessing

Magical spinning triangles, and not the 2.3, hold the answer you seek.

I've seen these in different Hot Rod type mags with rotary and V8 power. Seems like a small block Ford would be more in line for this truck than would a 2.3/Volvo "mash-up".

I think there have been quite a few 2.3 power threads, mostly turbo talk, but stroked 2.3s can make some power N/A, you just have to spin it...
