i can be 1 vehicle, it could be 12 vehicles. If space, storage, significant other, insurance cost were not an issue what would you have?

(note this is purely an exercise for fun to see what the mix would be, I'm figuring some may go with 1 swiss army knife compromise and other with a cheap rwd, cheap off roader/tow rig and also have a cheap cruiser or rally-x rig.

Today it would be the best Second gen Camaro/Firebird I could get for $5k and the rest on a truck to tow it with. Tomorrow might be different.
Or wait, C3 corvette.
No, a Jeep and a dual sport bike and goodbye to all this pavement once and for all.
This is hard.

I'd buy this: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/4272546970.html for a bit less than asking price and put the rest in replacing the engine with one of the higher-power models. A convertible is about the only thing IMO missing from our stable of cars.

If I had $7500 to play with though, it would likely be a continually rotating selection of cars. I'd get something fun for as cheap as possible, fix it up and drive it for a bit, and then sell it for hopefully about what I had in it and find something else fun to work on & drive.

That is all.

My garage right now currently has a 1970 Triumph GT6 ($1), 1985 BMW 318i ($1000), and 1977 BMW 320i in it ($200). Looks like I'll need about 10 bays at this point to get to the $7500.

I'd add in an early Lancia Delta (can be found in Italy for a few grand + a couple grand to ship it here).

A budget prepped STX E36 and a beater Subaru wagon would be in my garage. With any money left, I would turn the beater Subaru to be a budget prepped rallycross car. I'd have two good daily drivers with the BMW more for the summer and the Subaru more for the winter.

1: 1988-1991 Civic Si not trashed too badly and not fully caged like the one I already have. I miss being able to DD this car. Figure $3500

2: Something that could tow the Fully caged Civic to the track reliably truck/van what ever I could get the best deal on for the best vehicle. the other $4000

I could probably spend it ten other ways but tonight it's these two.

more dedicated cars: mgb-gt with webasto sunroof (touring), NA miata, old civic si or e30/e36 (pick one, autox/track), and I am thinking really hard about a late 80's big bimmer wagon with electric drive conversion for a dd.
