Hard to believe what used to be allowed down the drag strip.
Finally got the MGB to Bugeye trade deal done.
Bugeye is more hacked than I had hoped.
Got two noses with it, one original steel slightly mod for HP and a fiberglass that has been cut a lot.

It's been a day and a half...time to make with some photos.
Trying to brave the heat to unload everything today.
More sensitive to it than usual as only a few hours in Mohave gave me sunburn.

Very cool. Having now spent 44 years in the Mojave, yeah its no joke.
Lived in Lancaster for about a year when I was about ten years old, so 1965'ish.
Do not remember it ever being so hot.
I finally got the Bugeye cleaned up some and took pics.
Bought it pretty much sight unseen and with very little description.
Adding one pic here, then posting it to the for sale section as it is more work than I had hoped.
Need to concentrate on other, simpler, builds.
