it's an automatic with a loose converter they speced out when the car was all motor. They are working on another conveter now that will work better with the nitrous.
they are hitting it with a 150 shot
it has headers, but still has the stock GM mufflers. they sound good!
That explains it, the motor hardly changed revs the entire pass. Quite fast, and he could have done it with the A/C on and the radio playing while chatting on bluetooth and eating a sandwhich. Nice
1.4 60 foot?! Holy E36 M3 how much VHT did they put down to get that? That's a better 60' than most cars on slicks.
I've been think about it and I still want one.
No wheelspin that I could tell. That's freakin' amazing.

That sounds insane. Not sure if it's a good or bad kind of insane… Can't deny the accomplishment though!
I was in the same boat. Having watched that video at least 30 times since it was posted, put me in the "Good" insane camp. Anything that will make your fellow drivers go "WHAT_THE_berkeley_WAS THAT!?" is good in my book.
I could just sit and listen to it idle all day and be happy.
and here I thought all LS's sound bad... that sounds BAD. Amazing to think it is running stock mufflers?
I was equally, if not more, impressed by This one from the same guys.

the only thing i didn't like about that video was the exhaust tone... sounds too European to me...
