What a day of adventure today. Drove four hours to the absolutely stunning mountains/river and insane switchback after switchback of Marshall NC. And it was snowing very much. Slightly less fun while towing. Truly though I was going to die when a six plus foot snow plow came flying around one of those corners. Only for the love of cars... Atanyrate, This 91 SAAB 900c has ELMO leather. Um really? No its not red and fuzzy. Seem nicer than my other 91? It also has Tokicos and red springs, Eibach makes em red right?

Yeah, Elmo is just a Swedish leather company. Nice leather, but nothing special.

Only Eibach shocks I have ever seen are black. Koni STR.Ts are red, as are some KYB AGX. Also Tokico HTS.

EDIT: d'oh, red SPRINGS, not shocks. Vogtland (most likely since they make a lot of Saab stuff) makes them red, as well as H&R's "race" springs, B&G S2 sport springs. Also some obscure brands like Kilen. I have seen both black and red Eibachs. Vogtlands are most likely though since I think they are one of the few companies still making C900 sport springs.

I really liked the Elmo leather in my first car, a '92 900S. I agree that it's nicer that the Bridge of Weir in the earlier cars. It seems to wear better, too.

The red springs are probably the ones that Swedish Dynamics sells. My Intrax are purple.

Let's see the entire car!

Pics coming this evening. This one is supposed to be a parts car so is not so much of a looker. Has an electrical problem maybe related to an MSD iginition? I did polish a small section of the faded Talladega Red paint and it came right back. The seats will come out this weekend. Need one seam sewn and am going to have them dyed so they look new. ( I dyed the carpet in the driver convert last week and it looks soooooo much better) Don't know that I can save all of these cars but I want to. The car is definitely lower than my others. Not sure about the ride but bet it corners flat. Looking forward to playing with it.

Did you ever sell that other convertible? My lady and I have been keeping an eye out for another cheap one. I have the seat skins and some other choice parts from a '94 CE that are begging to be installed in a car.

The 88 Turbo convert is gone. Being resurrected somewhere in South Georgia. I do have a Talladega Red 92 Turbo Convert that is on the back burner. Pics are in "my garage" I think. all...

If you are interested in the red convert I will sell it very reasonably! Truly a nice car. Needs a trans which I have. Discovered a Willys Jeep Pickup on my adventure yesterday and have always wanted one. My email is mike.champ@hotmail if you want more info and pics.
