My sister has a 1994 Civic EX four door that she no longer needs. It is a D15 VTEC with a manual. What I am wondering should I take this car and turn it into a race car or spend my money on my '96 Civic DX coupe to make it into a Street Touring or Street Prepared vehicle?
Cost?
I would rock it, no doubt.
Free but no title so it would be only for track. And being on a college campus I don't know what I would do with it yet.

Was it swapped?
I'll give you like... $400 for it, i can get a title.
No my sister lost the title. I can't get it until summer since two people are using it to learn to drive stick. It is also high mileage like 250k.

Haha... i mean that i can get a title for it in this state. Lost title isn't that bad here, just takes some time.
Can't your sister apply for a duplicate title? I know that it's fairly painless (at least, in comparison to other dealings with the DMV) and quick, and it's only $5 (if there are no changes).
I imagine but I don't think she really cares to since she has a new Accord and the Civic has a number of problems so it is probably going to sit and rust or I will take it.

Fill out the form for the lost title...it's cheap and easy for the current owner to do it. Once it's changed hands, it's a real PITA. Having a title makes selling it, border crossings, keeping it licensed (for parking or test drive purposes), etc. significantly easier.
