My newest E-Bay purchased project is a '98 Mustang GT. It runs beautifully after a spark plug and wire change but I have a couple of electronics questions though -- First, I have only one key and it has one of those electronical chips in it so that ONLY authorized keys can be used. Can that system be bypassed using a different ignition switch or is a function of the car's computer? Second, the alarm which automatically arms when you lock the doors goes off every fifteen minutes or so. Is this self arming something that can be permanently disabled? I'm tired of having to leave the doors unlocked whenever I park in public. Thanks in advance.
