You could certainly do worse; lots of Mustang stuff will work on that chassis. The paint seems good, so it should clean up pretty nicely, too.

Looks like an excellent candidate for all the cheap Fox body bits you can find for $2009 less the price of the car. I say do it.

instead of a Factory Five Roadster you could build a Factory Fairmont Racer. 5 liter, 5 speed, 3.73 gear, hells yeah!

I had one of those crushed (long story) but i did like it. always thought it would look and go great with a bit of suspension tuning and a 351c. theyre sloppy in the factory state, but lots of potential in them...

didnt some one last year at the midyear challenge for biulders some one run a wagon fairmont that was fast and cheap?
