What? Maybe you just call them something else? Flip-flops? Sliders? Thongs? (ha). I think they are called 'slippers' in Hawaii, for example.

If I had only one choice for footwear for the rest of my life I would be hard pressed not to choose sandals. Fully knowing I live through Chicago winters...

Crocs. You meant to type Crocs, not sandals.

AClockworkGarage, I'm sending you a PM.

I'm with clockwork on this one. But I will also never wear shorts unless I am in a river.

Demetri Martin said: I think that when you get dressed in the morning, sometimes you're really making a decision about your behavior for the day. Like if you put on flip-flops you're saying, 'Hope I don't get chased today.'

In reply to mazdeuce:

I wear combat boots and BDU's. Got used to them when I was working for Florida FWC. Now I feel wrong in anything else.

I wouldn't know how to comment in this situation. I have minimal tools compared to some people on here. I'll just sit in the corner like a fly on the wall and eat my pop corn.

Is there anyone in Florida who can grab these tools and hold them until Tuna (or someone) can start a relay at the next Challenge? I'm trying to buy them from Mr. Garage, we just need to work out logistics.

Will look right at home on the dive boat...

I'm in Palatka, FL, and would be willing to donate space for you to keep them. I go to the Challenge every year since it's only an hour away. We can work it out and get them to you.

I know a guy who fills flat-rate shipping boxes (and I mean FILLS) with nuts bolts and hardware. It's ridiculous how much weight you can fit in one of the small ones when talking solid metal bits. And it still ships for the same cost. Even from Florida to Seattle.

Just saying....

There was a Challenge team of two brothers from Orlando that ran a Merkur last year. They are rarely on the boards but are good guys.

If ACG is willing to meet halfway, I'm in Tampa area and could grab and store and bring them as I will be there for sure.
