We had the chance to spend some time with the Cadillac CTS Coupe recently. While I'm awfully glad they're building them, I'm not sure it's a real improvement over the sedan or wagon versions of the CTS.

Interestingly, my local Chevy/Caddy combined dealership had a CTS Coupe and New Camaro parked near each other out front; both in black. I was suprised by what appeared as if the Caddy was slightly smaller than the Camaro.
I also noted how the buyers/targets are likely similar.
A loaded Camaro is likey priced right at about the entry price of the CTS.
Cadillac is producing great cars these days. I enjoy that they are unique and not trying to emulate Mercedes or BMW. Something that most of the Asian luxury makes could learn from.
I felt bad for preferring the Sedan or Wagon, but then I thought about how cool it was that Cadillac is selling a station wagon.
Forzav12 comment is on the mark. Cadillac isn't following anyone, and I hope the strategy continues to serve them well.
I love it, I'd really like to have the CTS-V Coupe parked in the garage right now.
EDIT: looking at the Caddy web site now, choke start at $63k.
+1 on the CTS-V Wagon. That's definitely on my "When I win the lotto, I'm buying these in the first week" list.
I'm already saving my pennies and figuring out in which countries it's still legal to mortgage the wife to get one. I don't care what it costs, I will own one.
My wife has long wanted a CTS, and I've driven the car and like it a lot. What concerns me is the build quality or lack thereof, and the cost of maintenance going forward. I think I'd rather take my chances with another Audi.

You're saying you don't trust the build quality and then buying an AUDI???
You must be new and slept through orientation or something.

Nope. I had a very good ownership experience with an Audi A6. Not so much with GM cars. Reliability advantage--Audi!
GM has some work to do to win me back.

This reminds me of how when the Challenger came out i thought it was basically a Magnum that traded away 10 parts utility for 5 parts style and ended up a less-good car in sum (imo).

You are in the minority. I still lose sleep over the 96 Audi Cab we owned. By far the least reliable car we've ever had and we've owned a bunch!
