sorry to bring this back up, but i didn't find this specific answer. i'm ready to upgrade my old EEC/OBD scanner. its a relic from the cold war, compared to what can be had on amazon for $10.99, and was over $400 when i got it. anyways, i wan't CAN-BUS, OBD, and ABS, if possible, and i son't see many listing ABS specifically. i have an android phone (HTC ONE M8), and of course, torque compatibility is a must.
i am willing to spend a few bucks on the 'good one'. i just don't know what that is.
aaaaaand, GO!

I have used this one for years, works with Android phones etc. Never had problem, the owner of the company responds almost immediately to questions as well. For 23 bucks it is well worth it. I use it in conjunction with the Torque Pro app.

I have one also don't remember which used it with the torque app on android and it works great
I'm using the same one that Storz is using. It works great with the free version of Torque app. I've noticed that it's a bit funny with some really early OBD2 cars, but still gets the job done. I would like to know if there is a way to read ABS codes with the Bluetooth dongle too. Maybe a different app?

I wish that I had seen this earlier. I had and ELM 327 that died and bought a second one because I didn't know any better. Always consult GRM before purchase.
I own the one Storz does and it works well with Torque. I keep thinking I should buy a lower profile one so I can leave it plugged it but the car is getting an accessport soon.
so, no one has successfully pulled ABS codes with a Bluetooth dongle? thats important to me, otherwise i have no need to upgrade.
