Got an estimate this morning. Will contact her insurance company as soon as the report is written up. And yes, re-skinning a CTS-V door and matching/blending “white diamond tri-coat” costs significantly more than a trunk lid for a clapped out chevy cruze, in spite of what the Russians would have us believe.
Also: “I read it on the internet so it must be true.” Should I (or my attorney) contact the property owner (Kroger?)

They may have video, but they may not be willing to share it.
Did the cop fill out an incident report, or do you have his name? If so, provide that to the insurance company so they can verify the cop said the girl accepted the blame.
Call her insurance company. File a claim against her. Let them deal with it. Mrs. jharry3 had a minor collision in a parking lot recently. They both came around a blind corner in a crowded grocery store parking lot. Somehow her Edge came out with minor scratches while the other car had a smashed in panel right by the headlight. We both filed against the other.
Somehow my wife was decided to be at fault. I think it was because the other driver filed the claim first, we had a notice from our insurance company before my wife got home from the grocery. Grrrr....

Parked next to a nice Honda in my nice MR2 a ways off in the in grocery parking lot. Figured that as an enthusiast, he wouldn't hit my car. Came out to find that instead he had keyed my car.
Ingles had it on camera, but wouldn't give it up. What difference would it have made, anyway?
Kroger isn't going to give you anything.
Walmart has been willing to work with me on video in their parking lot.
To clarify: Yes, I have the officer’s card with case number. Report will be available next week. Should include all of chick’s info, at which point I’ll contact her insurance company. In the past, I’ve always gotten insurance info at the scene, but I was seeing red and thought it best just to get the berkeley out of there sans-milk (which is why I was there in the first place.)
I’m not seeking damages from the property owner. I just read that you should make them aware that there was an accident on their property. Not sure how critical that is, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to swing by in the morning and ask a manager.
I’m not really concerned with video, though cop said, as I was leaving, that he’d run in and see if he could have them pull it just to appease Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel.
If E36 M3 gets weird, I’ll just call the attorney. Seems dumb for a fender-bender. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
It's said the guilty dog barks first,
but he usually get's fed first.
don't screw around get your info to your ins. first.

Picked up the accident report an hour ago. Police department was closed...yes...CLOSED the first two times I went by “for court.”
Report seems pretty cut & dry, so hopefully insurance company will be cool. All info is there. Calling this afternoon.

Should this progress, I would recommend against referring to the other party as "the chick". Its offensive here, and even more so in court.
Chick is offensive. The proper term is broad.
In reply to Appleseed :
careful there, or your nomination to SCOTUS will get (cock)blocked.
Chick, and every other word ever spoken, are only offensive if it offends you.
Do they not teach the Sticks and Stones rhyme anymore?

She doesn’t seem like the kind of chick who’d cry over a berkeleying splinter. So she’s got that going for her.

You know the stick and stones rhyme is bs we spoonfeed to kids right? Words hurt sometimes worse than physical injuries.

BS.
That's the result of poor upbringing and the root of political correctness.
In reply to Suprf1y :
So nothing I or anyone could say to you would ever cause you hurt? Sorry, I flat do not believe you.
Edit: I should clarify I’m not talking about the chick thing but the “words can never hurt me” portion of the rhyme toyman brought up. Calling women chicks is bad form but isn’t a grave insult.

That was always my joke - broads hate it when you call them chicks.
In reply to dculberson :
I would have to care about the person's opinion before I care about their words.
Can we not spiral down this hole? I just want to see if Poopshovel gets his car fixed.
I prefer the term Hot Mama.
