Immediately before rush hour this afternoon, a really brave guy in a right-hand-drive Lotus Elan +2S was heading into Toronto on the busiest highway in North America. Well, either really brave or really crazy. I used to think the +2S was the "big" Elan, and I guess it still is if you see it parked with a bunch of Elan roadsters, but I can now confirm from personal observation that it is narrower & shorter than, and almost exactly half as tall as, a Hyundai Veloster. And RHD? I don't think you could pay me enough to try that on with all the craziness that happens on the 401.
If it's small enough, it doesn't matter what side you're sitting on.
The only RHD car that I've ever driven on public roads was a 50s Rolls.

The rhd doesn't really matter much on a divided highway...
The first time I drove a Lotus Seven, it was RHD. I didn't even notice until I was getting out...
I see the point about the divided highway. I guess my feeling boils down to, "It's bad enough nobody can see me; I want every possible advantage trying to see them."

Yeah - In my Sprite MkII when it was crazy low between giant SUVs or trucks at stoplights and I'm sure they were unaware I was there at all.
i used to daily a 3/4 ton 4x4 ram on 39's. had a girl in a lowered cavalier whip in in the parking place beside me one time. i NEVER saw her. peeled the whole side of her car off with the front bumper (it caught it in the passengers side a pillar. totalled). never even felt the hit in that bog block beast.
i now drive a lowered neon. i figure if i cant see the driver of the cars next to me, they cant see me. so on the interstate i drive very carefully making sure that i can see other drivers through my passengers side window.
hopefully the other little cars do the same.
