Ok, moving a 4 cyl engine from below the hood line to a v8 above you head, well, that doesn't exactly scream autocross friendly.

then again, if the engine mounts are strong enough- does it qualify as roll over protection?

Somehow I think a friendly local peace officer could probably find a thing or two that makes that less then street legal. (No smog in tree hugging Oregon?)

For real. I mean I would never want to waste the man's time and drive such a car with no intention of buying it.

Two things:

1.)it almost makes you wonder why Ford Motor Co. couldn't have "cobbled together" something like this? (A Mustang or a Probe/Cougar AllTrac?)

2.) the guys who designed this car back in the mid '80s....if they could see their "creation" now, how would they feel?

can someone please find a way to do this for challenge money?

Yup, seems that he is using a custom transfer case. Going to look into the c6 trans he says it's running.
