Is your avatar pic your real car? I had a Cinnabar Red Citation. X-11 hood, wheels, and spoiler, but the base V-6 and a 4-speed. Miss it.
Back on topic: I love that Hornet!
That looks cool, my parents bought one new and it was horrible though. lol I think the next car they had was a fiat 128 and they were way happier.
Yes, thats correct. The fiat was actually a pretty good car, the hornet eh, not so much. The jensen healey they got after the fiat made them wish they had kept the fiat too. lol
Idunno, I had a hornet wagon that was awesome. It had the 258 six, and was dead reliable. Of course, I did pay just $300 for it used, so maybe my expectations were a little lower, but it really was a pretty cool car, especially since I was in college and it was a wagon... Now, my Dad's '69 Rebel only made it two years before it was completely and literally rusted out. Bad, bad car.
Anybody else have parents who are as, um, creative in their car choices as Travis K's? Hornet to 128 to J-H should be tough to beat!

My Mom went from AH3000 series 1 to FIAT 850 coupe to Dodge Polara to Chevy Corvair (Corsa - 140hp 4spd) and that was just while I was in school.
Not necessarily creative, but here's my parents cars during my lifetime:
55 belair - 60 impala - 65 rambler wagon - 69 rebel - 71 country squire - 74 colt - 78 grand marquis - 78 pinto - 83 accord hatch - 71 electra - 86 accord sedan - 88 civic sedan - 90 civic awd wagon - 95 accord sedan - 97 accord sedan - 95 accord sedan.
