Anyone watch the first two episodes of Americarna with Ray Evernham on Velosity last night? Opinions? I thought it was pretty decent compared to some of the other stuff out there right now!

I though the first episode was good, the second episode I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes before changing it, with the NASCAR claiming they invented racing.
It lacked a d-bag arguing with his employees and playing childish pranks on his competitors while showing zero work being done on cars.
I was especially confused at the lack of censoring foul language ie; "bleeps".
Thumbs up so far!
I thought it was head and shoulders above most of the car shows. I was stoked he got the Snake to appear on the first show. But I agree, there was some false info (fluff) in the second episode.
And I'm not Evernham fan.
Mr. Evernham is a reader of GRM and CMS---- he stopped by our booth at the Amelia Island Concours last year. He seems like a very nice guy. Hopefully his show won't devolve like the rest of them seem to. He's got one Hell of a resume, and is a genuine car nut. I haven't seen the show yet, but will give it a chance.
Corky Coker has a new show launching soon too. (Backroad Gold) With any luck, soon we'll have a couple of new shows that don't suck, or are filled with B.S. (staged) drama.
I can't stand to listen to either of those gentlemen. Might as well watch American Chopper reruns instead.
