We had on a 2000. One of the most reliable and comfortable cars we have ever owned.I bought because there was no way I would be tempted to modify it. It served its purpose well. Owned from 110k to 193k and only replaced the inner tie rods and one rear wheel bearing. If I had the space I would get another one.

These are nearly indestructible, so much is agreed. I just can't stand just about any car from this "era". Up until maybe five years ago, cars were so bland with ugly seating and interiors (with some exceptions of course) that it made owing older cars so easy to justify. They didn't just look cooler, they were cooler. Looking at the interiors of those cars makes me think of stale farts and empty Dorito bags.

This is a car that is a strong contender for SWMBO's next car. She'd be happy with it, other than it being a little bit of an old persons car.
