getting the plate welded to the bellhousing, should  I keep it at the same 0 angle front to rear,( using top of block as a guide) or tilt it a few degrees to the drivers side?

GM did that on the F Bodys in the 90s. They used a T5 behind the 6 cylinders and the transmission was mounted at a 17 degree angle.

I recently read the build thread of an e36 guy cutting his bellhousing and rotating it to have the engine less slanted to make more room for the bottom mount turbo. Seemed to work well.

That's one way to induce some u-joint angle.

They kind of have to do it on the 3SGe beams swaps.

I have the bell housing AND tail shaft from a 1989 Camaro RS 5 speed.  I have no need for it.  I'll sell it to you cheap if you want it.

68tr250, thanks, but the bellhousing  will not fit a ecotec  engine.
