Who'd like to see their Challenge car in the magazine before the event takes place? I can use a photo of a $2010 Challenge car under construction for an item I'm working on.
The rules:
The photo must be at least 1280x960 pixels.
You must be able to sum up the car in two or three coherent sentences.
The photo and info must be e-mailed to me. (My address is in the magazine's masthead, but it's pretty easy to figure out.)
First one received wins.
The end.
i seem to be first to see this. too bad i have no challenge car :(

Paging Jim Thwaite! Please bring Wartburg love to aisle three.
Just emailed you a full-res picture. We've got a build thread on here, and a website keeping track of the project.

Looks like unevolved beat me to the punch but if you want the Wartburg rundown email me.

I need to know if you want an in progress photo or just a general shot, I'd need to have the wife pull out the good gear (I'm photo illiterate but she's got the good stuff) to meet your photo requirements but that's not an issue other than being able to send it right away to meet the "first in" requirement.
I think I have a way to include both of you. How's that for some quick thinking?
As far as the rest of you, you know that you're always welcome to send us photos of your projects in progress, right? I can't always promise ink, but you never know what will happen. (And consider this a major hint for those entered in the UTCC as well.)

I'll get you the good photos tomorrow. Thanks :) We love to share the insanity.
I would've sent in my pics, but I just had a half page in the latest issue...

was that the shop story?
yep. saw it laying on a coworker's desk and thought it looked like a mag i'd read, so i read it.
I'm more than willing to go take some better photographs, what I sent you was just what we had on hand for our records.
