Starting budget is $150, plus the gas I spent to drive less than 20 miles out of my way, assuming you wackos can talk me into being a team member (very possible).
Remember, all the trips I made related to this were coupled with other necessary trips I was making.
Good point. And we'd love to have you.
Join the team Paul! We need at least 2 sober people!
Who will be sober besides Paul??
Yes...I know you won't be sober, what with your bacon-flavored vodka.
Still doesn't answer my question!

Which also brings up something for Rusty. I travel through Cumming about once a month, usually with an empty trailer headed south. Transport for a bunny to G'ville should be easy.
that sounds good if you guys are in a pinch for a car
If anyone wants to do this on the Left Coast, I have all the parts to a project I have not started yet. 240Z, running 350 SBC, and the full swap kit including headers and driveshaft which was all already in this car at one time. It would fit well under the $2009 limit. I even have some race rubber and wheels for it thanks to a charitable fellow Z racer.
My side yard could probably be labelled a Z specialty junkyard, and I have a pretty good setup for building a car in my garage. Heck, I even have room on the floor downstairs for mechanics who are not actually drunk. Total required investment by the people silly enough to try it would be roughly zero, plus getting here, entry fees and gas.
I was going to try to enter my daly driven 96 ranger but this sounds like a good idea also if you get a car that has a small block chevy I have some go fast parts or a car with 5x4.75 bolt pattern I have extra wheels if some one wants the help pm me
