I bought a sunex 20t press from" wholesale tool" the frame is made and welded in USA. The jack is Chinese. Found it on sale for 300.

Friend of mine has a Sunex its identical to the HF one just a different color. My HF 12ton is bowed, bent, and, otherwise wrecked but its been used hard for 5 years and still keeps on trucking Im waiting for a nice inside track sale plus 20% off to hopefully get the 20ton cheap.

I'm in a similar boat, sometimes I just need a press instead of a big C-clamp, but that's only a few times a year and as a result, I can't really justify springing for a more expensive one. Oddly enough, pretty much the only tool that never shows up on the local CL is a half-decent press. Heck, not even an HF one.

My understanding is that the 12 ton might not be powerful enough to press out the "non-replaceable" balljoints on the e30 FCA.
Bryce, those arbor press plates look really nice. I think they need to go on the shopping list if I end up with the HF press.
I did the balljoints on my e30 with one. It wasn't easy though, and IIRC on one I had to do some ghetto-fab hacking on the old BJ's before I could press it out.
It pressed in the new Moogs perfectly though.
