I need a wiring diagram for a 2000 Galant with a 2.4 and AT. Its having a no start/power up problem. When the key is turned, the dash doesn't light up, and most of the powered accessories aren't working, and obviously, it won't turn over the engine. The battery is fully charged, and none of the fuses are blown. I'm hoping its a bad ignition switch, but there are several relays in the system too. I diagram would be very helpful, and my Google-foo seems to be weak today.
Thanks

Looks like if you dont have an antitheft system then whenever the key is in crank position it goes through the neutral safety switch to the starter solenoid.
Can you get at the back side of the ignition switch and squeeze? Its not unusual on any Japanese car to have them start to come apart.
In reply to Vigo: do you have the diagram with the key switch in it? I suspect the key switch or one of the relays down stream from it, since the dash is not powering up.
I've made some progress, but a diagram would still be helpful. it seems that there is no power to the key switch. I double checked all the fuses, cant find a blown one. is there a hidden fusable link somewhere?
BTW, I'm pretty sure that this car doesn't have anti-theft.
In reply to Vigo: thanks Vigo.
It turns out the thing labeled as a fusible link is just a maxi fuse, and it failed in such a way that that it looked good, and had continuity. my meter didn't pick up the failure, but I went back at it with a test light today, and found it.
I replaced it, and all was well for about 10 minuets. the starter solenoid seems to have an intermitant short.
In reply to Vigo: you have a PM
