The MOPAR 4 speed OD is simply an aluminum cased version of the standard A833 4 speed with an OD gear set where 3rd used to be; then they flipped the 3-4 shift lever 180 so 3rd is 1:1 and 4th is an DO. See: http://www.passonperformance.com/a-833-history for some A833 history. Passon is also bringing their own A855 to market, which is a 5 speed OD that fits in the same space as the 4 speed A833 and is rated for 600 FtLb ($$$).

In other words - perfect for a /6.
This thread reminded me of this guy who I had build me a custom bumper that I ended up using on three different vehicles! He also fabbed a full rollcage for my friends' CJ8.

Look at the first two pics in the 3rd row down. Ive seen this at shows and it's really clean. I've known his work waaaay before most of us ever heard of Jesse James. And this guy isn't at all full of himself!
