There is a motor on ebay I would really like to bid on for my fiat x1/9 challenge project, but the seller says local pickup only.
If you would be willing to pick up the motor and help me ship it to myself I would be eternally grateful. They are like 130 lbs - liftable into the trunk of a car or bed of a truck, but heavy.
I can also repay you for your time in muchos car parts and beer.
Is the seller (and you) willing to wait until next year? If so, I am about 100 miles away but have no problem picking it up and getting it to you.
I am tied up next weekend and then flying to California until 1/2, after that I am game.

I contacted the seller who is fine with holding it until Jan. BUT IN BETTER NEWS - I WON THE AUCTION FOR A 2001 GSXR 1000 MOTOR (140-150 hp, 130 lbs) for $20!!!! Description says used but good condition, no idea how true that is but for $20 im willing to take a chance. Link to auction since I am still a little shocked
