Talking to a guy that has a TR8 in or near Indy. Car was completely immaculate about 10 years ago and disappeared from the TR8 community. Went from Detroit to Washington state. Now its in Indy and took a punch to the nose. Its seen better days. I can only tell so much from the pictures I was sent. Anybody in or near Indy that can lay eyes on this thing for me, or maybe even find it a good home. I'm up to 11 of them now, with several that I have not even touched yet waiting to be restored. Currently actively working on two that are just about done, and one that is ready for paint. At some point I have to stop dragging home orphans, but its hard to say no to a good deal on a TR8.

I'm in the Indianapolis area. My first car was a red '76 Fixed Head Coupe TR7.
Later on after college, I swapped a V6 into a DHC.
Shoot me a PM, I'll try to help you out. Gumby (another local) just bought his son a TR7, he might be interested too.

I have to wonder that these are not pulling down more $$$. Factory Brit alloy V8 in a chassis that is better to drive than most that came before it.
The wedge shape is divisive ( pun intended) but not horrible.

I have to agree with all of this. I got the chance to drive a stock TR8 in good shape and was surprised at how much I liked it. It just feels more modern and planted in a corner than the earlier TRs. I'd still take the earlier cars for style, but would love to setup a TR7 coupe with TR8 drivetrain for driving fun.
