Anyone in the DC area?

Hey guys,

I have agreed in principle to buy a new to me car. It isn't terribly far away,but i am having some issues in getting down there anytime soon. I like the car in pics,and I am willing to fly down to Reagan,and then drive it home,but it looks like it may not be for a few weeks,and I would love to have someone look it over for me,and listen to the engine run. I was told it has some wrist pin slap when cold,but would love to have someone hear it before I fly down there. The car is in Mclean,VA,and it is an 82 BMW 320i converted to a 323i with a 2.7 litre 6 cylinder. If you can help me out I would appreciate it.

dude, send a PM to aussiesmg. i picked up a radiator for him from a guy in mclean va a couple months ago. the guy in mclean was very cool, is building an LS1 944, and i'd trust that guy to look at the car for me. so check with aussiesmg for that guy's contact info.

He's on these boards too. His name is Jesse, screename is either Tetzoe or JWC38 (can't remember which one he uses here)
