They were part of the Inside Line Blog, which Edmunds killed and rolled into the main website's "What's Hot" section, thus alienating some 75% plus of their traffic.

most people don't care about the stuff that makes their car work- they just want it to work and look cool while doing it.
i've had people ask me what i was doing when i'd lay on my back and try to get as good of a look at the moving bits on the bottom side of new Corvettes and Camaros sitting on dealer lots.
