Hi Everyone- I am headed in Orlando next week for work for a convention. My buddy and I have been communicating with a seller outside of Lakeland in Auburndale, FL who has a Mercedes AMG engine and trans that we are trying to buy.
The seller is a older fellow who has no interest in shipping it or remotely thinking/talking about it no matter how simple it may be in reality. I was planning on going over to meet him on Monday night 1/20 and potentially pay for the drivetrain and try to get it mounted on a pallet.
All of our samples/gear for work left for FL today via a large tractor trailer that has plenty of extra room and a liftgate. It is headed back to CT on Monday 1/27. The engine and trans can hitch a free ride home on the tractor trailer if I can somehow get it from the seller to around the convention center where the tractor trailer will be parked during the week.
Would anyone be local that area, have a pick up truck, and be able to help me get it from one place to the other?? I am willing to pay you for your time and effort.
